Canine Good Citizen

The American Kennel Club started the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) program in 1989 as a means of rewarding dogs who were well-behaved companions at home and in the community. This class is a non-competitive, family friendly, 8 week session for dogs 6 months of age and over. Proof of current shot records are required of every dog (DHL, parvo, bordatella, rabies).

Classes are held on Thursdays at 7pm at our club training center located at 102 W Delavan Drive, Janesville, WI 53546. The cost is $70.00 for an 8 week session.

The next 8 week session begins March 8^th 2012!

Accept grooming/exam - the importance of appearance
Walk on a loose leash

Mannerly reactions to another dog
Confident reactions to distractions
Mannerly supervised separation
