- Notice to all members:
The club discussed and voted to combine the annual December Christmas party and awards banquet. The awards will be distributed at the Christmas party. This year's qualifying period for awards will end on October 31, 2012. Future qualifying periods will run from November 1 through October 31 of the following year.
- The Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin will be holding a weight pull on Saturday, February 18 at Riverside Park.
The dogs will begin pulling at 11:00 and the pull will continue until about 2 pm. Spectators are welcome to see these awsome dogs pull upwards of 2,000 pounds while enjoying every minute of it.

Who we are.
The Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club is a non-profit organization founded in the mid-1960's and dedicated to the advancement of purebred dogs and responsible dog ownership. The Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club is a member of the American Dog Owners Association and is licensed by the American Kennel Club.
What we do.
Our club holds matches, all-breed shows, and training classes. We hold one all-breed dog show, including obedience, in May and one obedience trial in January. The Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club offers breeder referral service, educational programs, training classes, seminars and workshops. Members of the Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club are active in 4-H, field, tracking, obedience, agility, training, conformation and specialty clubs.
